NEW META-ANALYSIS led by Oscar Yau looking at the association between gender and academic buoyancy. We analysed data from 173,665 students from over 50 studies and found that girls are significantly lower than boys in academic buoyancy.

School completion is the highest level of secondary school attainment that students can achieve. In Australia, school completion rates sit at around 85 per cent.

Research on whether single-sex or co-ed schools are better is inconclusive. But we know a schools’ resources and culture matter for students learning and wellbeing.
