I found some helpful threads on Reddit about it, I think I raised maybe 5 requests before finally getting back in and it was the request to turn off 2FA that worked

Same happened to me, I got back in by requesting them to turn off 2 factor authentication and I was then able to get in and change the password. Make sure you email from the email associated with the account and include screenshots of the change notification email
