bobbin two, this color is called inkpot I think. or inkwell. something inky the plan is to make a stripy hat as a big swatch, and to test out color combos. I think I'll do two more colors before starting on the hat. #handspinning

no longer just a pile of yarn, now it's a pile of warp chains. I still need to figure out how I'm going to sett it and what to do about the boucle (I suspect it's not going to fit through the heddles) it's getting more blanket shaped, very exciting. #handspinning #weaving

technically I guess the fiber was pre-aged - I bought it when I was learning to spin and it was so compacted and unusable it waited until I was friends with my drum carder and then it waited most of a year because I was saving it for TdF still tho

how is your saturday going? I had a cheese and tomato sandwich and then I built a tiny fry stand out of daiso off-brand legos they only have the front picture on the packaging so learning that there are tiny ketchup bottles and frying pans inside was a fun surprise

the argument started when some dumb muppet on reddit decided that my lovely bouclé skein from a couple days ago was actually "picture perfect bubble crepe" when no. it isn't. I didn't learn to corespin and spiral ply for people to go around calling my shit "bubble crepe" #handspinning
