are there any good examples of song lyrics where you are actually intended to mishear them as an artistic choice?

Today I shipped a huge change to syntax highlighting in Discord: code blocks and file previews on web are now being highlighted by Tree-sitter, instead of highlight.js.

chat are we installing OSName?

iPhone, system update screen

An update for iOS 26.7.1 takes up most of the screen

At the bottom, the "also available" section lists an option to "Upgrade to OSName 27"

Discord now supports full ANSI colors! I updated my colored text website to let you use them, as well as create rainbows and gradients and stuff. rebane2001.com/discord-colo...

loading consoles or emulation setups with romsets is quite a bad way to experience gaming. you end up with "games, unlimited games, but no games", and you don't even get the unlimited bacon with it

Stuck inside a <meta> and angle brackets blocked? You can still get XSS... In Firefox, use hidden=until-found and onbeforematch with a URL hash to trigger your handler. Now in our XSS cheat sheet, thanks to Mathias Karlsson.

<meta name=description
content=x id=p
hidden=until-found
onbeforematch=alert(document.domain)>

crazy find in gmail source code

snippet from the html of the gmail place

a div has the id of :3

despite what the post says, this is not the actual source code and is just the html code sent to the client

if youre wondering how i find stuff like this - i often do ui recreations in css for my blogposts and slides, and i want them to be as accurate as reasonably possible here is my fixed css-only recreation of the graphic (CC0 1.0)

split view - css code and a preview

source:
& > div {
align-self: center;
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
translate: -50% 2.2em;
border-radius: 100em;
width: 10.56em;
height: 10.56em;
background: #BD2426;
&::before, &::after {
position: absolute;
content: "";
background: #FFF;
left: 20%;
width: 60%;
height: 1.5em;
border-radius: 0.2em;
top: 50%;
translate: 0 -50%;
rotate: 45deg;
}
&::after {
rotate: -45deg;
}
}

not a direct answer to your question, but fwiw ai often uses proxy services that download the html and turn it into markdown, i would assume those services have their own layers of caching and stuff

i don't know!! from my personal experience i couldn't imagine being able to bark outwards, but i don't have dog anatomy so maybe it is different for them there seems to be no good sources for this online i can find? like all the sources claiming it is outwards seem to be seo/ai slop pages

Rebane @rebane2001.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

extra tips: - u can learn to bark in an hour - record urself and listen back to it - try to do it fast - at first it may hurt ur throat :c (take care!!) - its way easier than voice training - if it feels cringe thats okay also this was months ago i think my barks are better now
