Bsky I've been largely ignoring you! I'll try and be more active, but recently I've returned to the hell site because it's just so much busier for the fandoms I'm into. It's hard maintaining several social medias 😓

I've had this sitting in my iPad for months but just haven't been in a place to finish it. And I mean like. Months. I started this back when we were speculating we might get a pirate theme for "Wilting Flowers, Burning Dreams". Because cmon. Shoulder parrot Father, Pirate Rei. #nucarnival

What people mean by the term "guilty pleasure" 99.5% of the time is "something genuinely joyous that pretentious dickheads told me not to like."

Fuck it, I'm entering my Vtuber era.

I'm finally biting the bullet and deleting all my double art files. My PC is so full and most of it is like 'finalfinalprint5.psd (3)'

Does anybody else have the annoying tendency of lying in their bed and writing in their head the most beautiful, sensual, well crafted fanfic, only to forget every part of it the moment pen comes to paper? My self-written bedtime fanfics are so wonderful, you guys, and you'll never get to read them.

4 years ago today I watched Sk8 the Infinity for the very first time and when I tell you it changed the trajectory of my life. Sometimes the greatest paths are carved by the simplest means.

One more six day week and then I finally get some time off to focus on art and projects again. I can't wait. I was sent home early Saturday because I'm just absolutely exhausted and have had a constant headache for days. Soon I can have work/life balance again. I miss drawing and gaming :(

Reaperfox @reaperfox.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

A vtuber (Kaelix Debonair) I've started watching said this the other day: "I love people who love things loudly and are very public or vocal within their friend groups about the things that they enjoy." and it really really resonated with me, because when I love, I love LOUDLY.

Good evening everyone! I am really happy today (and really sleepy). I think it's good to document those little wins. Hope you're all doing good! I've been working six day weeks at the 'day job' (just a plain job now, right?) but soon I can cut back and I cannot wait to get back to art and writing!

I cannot even begin to imagine what it's like to not have this volcanic rumbling of obsession and fandom. I've been this way since I was a child, and now I'm decades older I'm absolutely the same way. Each fandom and obsession leads to another, and it becomes a constant, constant, wonderful noise.

Shout out to my mostly straight and/or ace friends who sent me yaoi all day as though yesterday was an actual holiday for me. They are forced to Perceive me, like I'm their little problem that they give head pats to occasionally.

It is so funny finding an artist who draws your current fandom/ship and when you scroll down their social media you can pinpoint exactly the moment each of their brainrots came to be. I just followed a great KPop Demon Hunters artist and two pages down it's all Jayvik haha. Brainrots are the best.

I'm the first to defend tech and social media, because the inspiration I've found and friendships I've made have been life changing in every way. But lord if this isn't a mood and the truth. Before the Internet I drew and drew and wrote and wrote and never chased anything more than my own dreams.

Reaperfox @reaperfox.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

Joining the chorus praising Kpop Demon Hunters!! I really wish this had been a series because there's so so much more I want them to explore, I so hope we get more someday!

The dichotomy of art blogs whose headers are like "ooh, watch out, this blog is NAUGHTY" and you have to scroll for minutes to see a nipple versus art blogs whose headers are like "sometimes NSFW" and the pinned post depicts a character doing something thermodynamically impossible with their penis.

We're gearing up for Citrus Con 2026: First Winter! Conventions have always been a summer staple, but wouldn't it be nice to have something to look forward to in the colder months too? Register here: www.eventbrite.com/e/citrus-con...

Hello new peeps from Citrus Con! Figured I'd do a little intro! I'm an artist and a fanfic writer in the UK! I've been in fandom spaces for decades. I'm fiercely "ship and let ship" and currently play mostly in Sk8, Nu Carnival and Wind Breaker fandoms! Nice to meet you all! 🍵🌸|🐶🌹|🦊💤|🫖🌸|🐢🐰

Last weekend was such a whirlwind. Y'know that feeling when you travel abroad and change timezones and lose a day? That's me right now, operating on 7 hours sleep and riding a high of gay anime since Friday. Every panel, gameshow, screening? Absolutely wonderful. Thank you, @citruscon.bsky.social!!

It's not even over yet and I've been awake for 24 hours now because I am an idiot, but I'm already thinking God, I'm going to miss Citruscon. Today has been so wonderful. This is absolutely one of my top favourite cons to attend and it's not even at Warwick Arts Centre.

This is my Citrus Con conbadge. I asked Luke who my latest alpha blorbo was and, well, can't argue with his answer. (Also he made this for me because I am not approaching my PC in this heat). Heh. Heat.

Was up until past midnight for the Ascendent Animation panel, and I'm so glad I set the alarm for the 4am Smut or Angst game show. It's not even been a full day yet. Citrus Con may well kill me, but I'll go out happy.

I am SO ridiculously excited for @citruscon.bsky.social this weekend. I booked time off work and have estimated I will have about 6 hours sleep all weekend. I am old. This will hurt. Damned time-zones. #worthit.

On advice, I've started slowly throwing my little drabbles and snippets onto Ao3 to archive 'em since otherwise they'll just gather dust. Here's a drabble where Kojiro and Ainosuke have a small heart to heart about Kaoru, and how to earn his love. #sk8theinfinity archiveofourown.org/works/66274318

I'm over the moon with these casting choices. Casting an actual drag queen artist for Tsubaki and a trans artist for Miyuki is so great. I'm glad we're moving away from people performing caricatures and that studios are starting to hire people who can portray the characters authentically. Chefs kiss

Wind Breaker is hands down one of the most wholesome, 'friendship is magic' and 'let boys have feelings' shows I have ever watched. Just caught up on the sub and dub and I IMPLORE folks to do the same.
