I've lost 40 lbs since April. I'm getting closer to my target weight. I'm 6'1 and 220 lbs, trying to get to 180. Lucky for me, my company offers a steep discount for a gym membership. I'm in the best shape I've been in years, but still have a ways to go.

If we were to see another civil war, I believe it would more closely resemble the Troubles of Northern Ireland than it would conventional warfare. Small, non centralized groups committing acts of violence against one another, spread across the country. Battles fought In forests and neighborhoods.

I appreciate the sentiment behind the No Kings protests, but they're toothless. They more closely resemble a bloc party than a protest and until they show real teeth and anger, they won't change anything. Protests need to be sustained, angrier, and more disruptive.

Trump just hinted at a "midterm surprise" for the end of October. They have no intention of handing over power. They also refused international election monitoring. Sadly, I don't think this will end the way we hope it will. He knows the American people can't stomach a fight.
