So, I’m not the biggest walker. In fact, I hardly ever walk, and I may need a rollator to get myself out a bit more. Plus people are a bit much for me. So while my other half was exploring @chesterzoo.bsky.social today, I was hiding in a quiet corner and made some friends.

Loving parents. Of course I had the odd fight with my parents like everyone else, and we had financial difficulties for most of my childhood, but some of the stories I’ve come across since really brought into perspective how lucky I was, and how many people really struggled.

I have been working from home for the last year. I’m disabled, no other way to describe it anymore. I barely move throughout the day. We haven’t been on holiday in years due to a lack of funds. I have just been out for the first time in a year and my everything hurts 😅 Time for a rollator.

Luggage pretty much packed. Cat fed. Personal hygiene reasonably accomplished. Fresh towels folded. Oli is picking our house/cat sitter up in an hour, until then I’m trying to keep his ADHD in check. To do: Hoovering, bathroom cleaning, bed, laptops/chargers, buying driving snacks/breakfast 🥵

Getting ready for team building days in Chester from Thursday to Saturday. And then straight into two weeks of holiday, one of which is spent in Wales. I can’t wait to be back at Beudy Cefn. We couldn’t afford a holiday the last three years (really can’t, still), but I -need- it.

Sitting in the waiting room at the dentist and clearly there must be something about crocs that I’m missing, because four out of five men between 25 and 60 appear to be wearing them 🤔

It was an australian wool core duvet from back when we had moneys xD I’m not telling Oli that though, he was distraught about it as it was. New duvet is ordered snd should be here tomorrow.

Yeah I already went through that, got turned down by automatic moderation. Sent some last Hail Mary attempts via email, but I doubt that will result in anything. That a private company, providing a service to nearly half of all humans on this planet, can just remove you from existence is ridiculous.

Yeah I’d recommend it. I’ve been pretty down in the dumps over the last week, because it was the only way to stay in touch with some friends and family - particularly for me, who doesn’t do “staying in touch” particularly well. I can’t even properly express how shit this feels.
