Cyberpunk and Starfield are on sale and if you buy both you'll have hundreds of hours of gameplay and also Starfield

I wondered who would download "an ai that can run your life" if they had literally even googled something and been forced to use AI recently, and "facebook market reseller" actually makes sense

Sony told a tribunal that physical games proved PlayStation owners weren’t locked into the PlayStation Store. 54 days after the trial ended, Sony announced it was killing the disc. This is the 13-year story of how Sony removed every alternative. youtu.be/d97qdcdC55g

2XKO is ending development. Did you know that just 19 days after their release, the same algorithm I talk about destroying Highguard is the reason over half the 2XKO staff was laid off? That's because it's the same company running both.

The scores are the most misunderstood number in this story. Highguard is 63 on Metacritic. That is not the review profile of a disaster; that's the profile of *mediocre.* Concord's problem was that nobody wanted it. Highguard's problem was that fine is fatal when your funding is measured in days.

The part I still think about though? In Highguard's final week, a small crowd of trophy hunters showed up specifically because it was dying. They knew the servers had a countdown, but developers were still shipping content updates. Devs were performing CPR and players came to hold their hand

Highguard launched with 97,249 players and was gone 45 days later. I played it before the servers went off; mined the rocks, ran the empty maps, got killed repeatedly by a lightning spear I could not see. New video: where the money actually went, and who was actually paying youtu.be/V4fZCCuMZyk

Wrote a quick little review for Cat Mail Co., which let me realize my dream of working at a relaxed post office (while also being a cat). mykonosfan.beehiiv.com/p/cat-mail-c...

I'll restate that I *enjoyed* the film a lot. I just think it's a poorly made film that I liked. And I'm super happy to see an original film and not just Scream 17
