I know this from personal experience, as I just got mine returned to me after being in a repair shop (for an absolute long time!) on this exact issue. One eye was already out when I brought it in. Now they both work beautifully. Be prepared if you get one, because this is a common issue in them.

I often turn away game offers due to generative AI. I had a dev state they didn't use genAI in their game, I pointed out their AI disclosure. They pushed back that it was their capsule art / marketing not the game itself. My dude. WHERE the genAI is isn't why I'm out, it's that you it was used.

I think I might hate Retro Achievements achievements always felt somewhat arbitrary but theyre neat little bonuses in concept, but what I hate is the feeling that they "validate" gameplay and random people deciding what should be "validated" in older games just feels... disingenous to me
