Why do so many #DieHard sequels take place outside? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

For as much anti #MAGA media there is out there, I feel like #OneBattleAfterAnother did the best job at lampooning #MAGA effectively. #Eddington was aight, but it felt a bit more about how social media polarizes people than the ideologies themselves.

It's been nice to catch #CharlesDavis' voice on #CBS, I actually know him from from the #EASports #MaddenNFL videogames.

The way that #CollinRugg is posting about #Cornell7 is making me lose a lot of respect for him TBH. Lots of one-sided takes with cherry-pickings of statements.

Someone named #SheikhdoonAbdullahiMohamud tried shooting up the #MallOfAmerica in #Minnesota and I can't help but think that he has such a #JKRowling-esque name. "Should his first name be 'sheik'? No, that's too on the nose, he should be 'sheikhdoon' instead. Perfect!"

Can somebody explain to me why all of a sudden on my #IG AND #YouTube feeds I'm seeing people (usually women) say still about men and their mental health? Did something happen? A suicide awareness day that I missed?

Holy crap I'm just realizing something about the corporate #AI "bubble". There is no " #AI bubble". And #AI isn't "the future" in the way that CEOs are pitching to the masses. There is an inflation bubble, and these #AI companies are just trying to convince people to pay them as much money as […]

Too late, IMHO. I don't really know why people view #KenPaxton so poorly, but his campaign has sucked. "Well #JamesTalarico is wacky and stupid" might be true, but it makes the election about him and not you. I don't think that, in general, that would be a powerful enough motivator to get […]

I fell for the Booking.com WhatsApp scam today. There has apparetly been a #databreach at #bookingcom, which provides a little bit of truth to this "please verify your credit card now" scam. They knew my name, my phone number, the hotel I was staying at and the exact dates. That, a little bit of […]

I've downloaded the #FlockHopper app and will be testing it, I believe that it combines #OpenStreetMap and #Flock mapping data to allow users to avoid #Flock cameras during navigation. play.google.com/store/apps/details?… I am not a #Flock […]

This is the funniest thing I've seen today, possibly ever

A tweet by SarahStarberry that says "oh god read the vertical axis" on top of a chart measuring AI models' release dates and model numbers rather than any real capabilities

I've never been much of an #MLB wild card game watcher, neither for the #NLWildCard nor the #ALWildCard, but I will say, this crowd atmosphere in #Atlanta #Georgia, for this postseason game that's in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of the work week, is incredible.

RE: twitter.com/sportsrage/status/21049… This is actually a smart move. Check the schedules, there are hardly any #NHL games on today, only a few. www.espn.com/nhl/schedule Plus, were in the midst of the beginning of the #NFL and #CFB seasons. Plus the #MLB […]

My latest cartoon for @newscientist.com

A figure stands in a barren landscape; reaches for the lever on a large, eccentric contraption covered in wires, pipes, dials and buttons; looks over towards two figures inside a bunker and says:

"'Trust me, it's safe' would sound a lot more reassuring if you weren't saying it from inside a concrete bunker."
