Luna dog is such a little bugger! After we play ball with her she usually gets a treat so whenever she wants a treat she bugs you to play and when you throw the ball she’ll run after it, but instead of giving it back to be thrown again she just runs past you to the kitchen like ok, treat time now! 😂

Same. Even if I was magically ready tomorrow it wouldn’t be fair to do it when next month is our kitchen and then it’s Christmas and everything will be changing and different. Need a nice calm stable house for whoever future kitty babies are. Cats really do just choose their humans 😂

Yeah, I’ve never not had a cat so it’s a new experience for me, I’ve also never gone looking for one. My childhood cats were kittens of our cat, and then Kisy and Hina were brought into our vet when our dog had an emergency so they basically fell into our laps! I’m thinking maybe in the new year.

It took me until many years later to realise what that smell was having spent a few years in my tweens spending quite a bit of time around a bunch of teenagers who often made the mysterious smell 😂

Just got back from doing the food shop and was like huh, why does our garden smell weird? Then noticed that the neighbour kid is sat on the curb outside our house smoking… not a cigarette 🙃 Well, that explains that! 😂

I also vividly remember getting scared every time I rewatched BBC Narnia, when at the end of the first VHS tape the White Witch goes “and BURST UPON THEM!” and the wardrobe doors close. She was also very scary. And obviously the bit when Aslan goes to the Stone Table and all the baddies are there.

I don’t know which I saw first, the boo-boo box in Hook, the Grand High Witch taking her mask off in The Witches, or that bit in Fantasia where all the dinosaurs die and everything starts exploding. But before those was the bbc Narnia version of Maugrim. He TERRIFIED me. Still kind of scares me 😂

The character Maugrim from the BBC mini series of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe from the 80s. It’s very clearly just a guy in a wolf suit.

Finally got myself to change my bedding by putting on some Halloweeny sheets. It sounds silly but I really struggled with the idea of my bed not being covered in Kisy cat’s hair, it being clean means it doesn’t feel like she’s just been there.

The crematorium people just brought Kisy cat home. At some point her ashes will get buried in the garden with Hina’s so they can be together again. They also did me her paw prints and a little jar of her fur that I will treasure forever.

Suddenly had to say goodbye to this little gremlin this afternoon. And it’s like I’ve forgotten how to breathe. Goodbye, my most perfect little Kisy cat. Nobody in the whole world has ever loved anything more than I love you. Twenty years was such a long time and yet still nowhere near enough.

Definitely. Whenever I’m feeling ill, or even just really tired, my tolerance levels for anything sensory or social interaction related absolutely plummet. Something I could cope relatively fine with usually suddenly becomes intolerable.
