I recently cleaned out all of my course notes and readings for a class I took 8 years ago thinking I would never need them. Now I’m teaching the class and I regret my choices. Lesson learned: never throw anything away.

Communties need reliable sources of information and guidance to help support the sacred work of searching for missing children. The defunding of the NAC is a huge setback for the work.

Hey folks! My friends are trying to raise money to get Bakr the life saving surgery he needs - the initial deadline has passed and they are only just over halfway to the goal - can you donate and share so they can reach it ASAP? The next $500 will be matched! tiny.cc/HelpBakr
A light blue post with drawn images of a heart and a kite on the bottom corners. The top text reads “https://tiny.cc/HelpBakr” and the centre text reads “help an evacuated child with a brain tumour get life saving surgery by Dec 8”A light blue post with a photo of a child in a hospital bed. The text below reads, “Bakr evacuated to Egypt earlier this year. He is suffering from brain cancer and his condition is increasingly difficult. This brain tumor has started to affect his movement and vision. Bakr has the opportunity now to get surgery to help his condition.”A light blue post with text that reads, “Bakr's family needs to have the cost of the surgery upfront in order to get to the operation room for this lifesaving procedure. We need $4,000 USD to get Bakr his brain surgery, and we need to get there by December 8th.
This is totally possible. We have the opportunity to help save Bakr's life.”
