Areas of fog have developed this morning across interior portions
of the Piedmont and the Virginia border counties. This includes
the far northern Piedmont, northern and western parts of the
Triangle and the southern Piedmont. Visibilities may be reduced
at to a half mile or less at times, especially in Halifax,
Franklin, Chatham, and Anson Counties. If driving this morning,
make sure to allow extra driving time to reach your destination.
Reduce driving speeds, increase following distances and use only
low beam headlights. Visibilities should improve by 9am this
morning.
