Walking by art gallery in French Quarter and saw this amazing Swamp Thing piece. Artist is Mei Mei and card says it's "needle felted merino wool." #comics #art
Swampy bust sculpture of sorts. 7500 bucks and it could be yours. Incredible amount of work so that might be a steal for all I know. I just know I dig it.

Greetings puny mortals, it is I, TOTO! I want to let you know that my summer reading list was likely vastly superior to yours bc I read #LocusMag, and therefore have a team of humans to select books from the best of the best. Curses! I let the secret out. locusmag.com?utm_sou...
A photo of a small dog (Toto) sitting on a stack of books in our office. He is facing the camera. His face is really shaggy.

Red neck should not be a bad word. I’m super redneck in the way it’s supposed to be. Telling the boss to fuck himself while sticking up for my people can’t just yet. Super left but still redneck. #takeredneckback

Incredible b&w illustration of a big uppercut knockout punch in a boxing ring. The uppercut receiver's neck is stretched up and his head is not seen off the top of the page. Referee in bg looks like he's about to lose it. Behind him an unruly crowd.

Friendsgivings, I imagine will be abundant this year. I should have panned one because I don’t want to go see anyone in the family. Other than my parents who were the sane ones. But they feel like they should have dinner with the not so sane ones. That creates. Issues.

The secret is that other writers aren't competition; they're peers, colleagues and friends. Someone who reads me is going to read other writers as well; the entire publishing economy is "yes, and." Therefore it does me no harm, and much good, to support other writers and to wish them well.
