We are deeply shocked and saddened by the incident in Liverpool yesterday. Our thanks are with all those involved in the response. We are here if you need support: buff.ly/ESz6ekd
Quote from Carmel O'Boyle reads: My thoughts are with everyone in my hometown of Liverpool and all those who were involved in the response to yesterday's horrifying incident. Only two weeks since our city welcomed us to Congress, the joy we felt there will be found again. Liverpool is a strong community and will stand together, as always.

Where is the 2025/26 NHS pay award? The government is failing to deliver the change it promised. Don’t stand for being ignored. ➡️ buff.ly/Ul418SV #FairPayForNursing

Today's Spring Statement left nursing staff in the dark, with no commitments made on investing in nursing or on nursing pay. Meanwhile the welfare cuts announced will harm vulnerable people, and put more pressure on the NHS. Read our full response: buff.ly/LOWwydG
Quote from Professor Nicola Ranger reads: The government’s aims to reduce demand on services, keep people healthy and boost growth will only be achievable with a well-resourced, fairly paid nursing workforce.

To protect patient safety and ensure the clinical expertise of nursing are maintained, the title of “nurse” must be protected in law. Write to your MP today and urge them to protect patient safety by ensuring that only registered nurses are legally allowed to use the title "nurse".
