“Your Majesty,” the guards said in unison, performing the Aldellian salute before dropping to their knees. When Quil did not move, torn between fear and spite, the black-haired captain said in a low and icy voice, “Kneel.”
Their body was ice, locked in a self-made stasis; they simply stared into the queen’s eyes, a maelstrom of emotion storming behind their own.
“I said kneel.”
The guard kicked Quil’s knees out from under them and they fell hard to the ground, almost striking their chin on the hard floor with their wrists cuffed behind their back. Swallowing back a curse, they gritted their teeth and bowed their head as the captain resumed his position beside them.

No. 1 most defining game has to be Grandia. It's only now I'm replaying it that I'm realising just HOW much it defined me, the things I create, and the games I enjoy. Am I good at it?
