MX isn't scrapped entirely, he wasn't taken out back and shot. It was a mutual agreement to put him on hold and save a roster spot for him so I can focus on establishing MX as a proper character before getting him involved with projects like TC.

the sam and max mod's almost done btw i just gotta draw all the spoiler stuff and redraw some other things too in the meantime i have gotten all five endings to the game and it was fucking awesome i really do implore people to give five nights at frickbear's 3 a try.

in other news i have plans for a smb1r resource pack, with the idea basically being "smb1 but with a razz coat of paint"

razz's smb1 mario sprites, meant to look somewhat like mario while staying in the limitations of the nes (tile sizes, color palettes, the works)

Relaunching my retro CG setup as TetraCG: an assortment of nifty nodegroups and render settings to provide an easier entryway into a style that I adore ^^ mega.nz/file/ZidCmLw...

Cover page for TetraCG, a retro computer graphics package for Blender 5.0. It is made up of several negative greyscale 3D renders in the style of 90s CG, laid out like comic panels.

TetraPHONG

A simple, but versatile nodegroup combining diffuse and specular shading with full support for Cycles and EEVEE.

The Cycles version of TetraPhong supports anisotropic highlights for surfaces such as metal, hair or satin, and it also supports full, proper raytracing.

While the EEVEE version lacks these features, it does include an optional coat for screenspace raytracing. Its diffuse and specular components will also render perfectly fine in Cycles.

TetraGEN

A noisy volume nodegroup that aims to replicate PowerAnimator's flashy particles.

Particularly useful for fire, smoke or dust FX. Adjust scale, distortion, frequency and emission accordingly.

Renders in EEVEE and Cycles.

TetraSKY

A world background nodegroup with the express purpose of filling up the void.

Use with an environment texture, or generate a sky with various gradient, cloud and star settings at your disposal.

Disable diffuse and glossy rays in world properties to prevent unintentional ambient lighting (Cycles only).
