Tiresome listening to journalists keep asserting City deny things. So fucking what? They were found guilty. You can say they are appealing but you can seriously stop saying they deny things like they haven't already been proven to be lying in a verdict that also accused them of lying.

Honestly, people would care a lot more about UEFA competitions if they stopped calling things 'leagues' Nations League Europa League Conference League Champions League They're almost entirely *cups*. Just call them cups, and people would be more into them

Myles Lewis-Skelly starting in midfield for England when he wasn't even playing as a midfielder at the start of the year is just nuts. He's amazing and just turned 20 today. He doesn't get anywhere near enough credit from outside Arsenal. Happy birthday, Myles

There should be an end-credit scene added to the final episode of Ted Lasso, where Ted – back in the US with his family – opens a letter revealing that City have had their titles stripped because of financial doping, and so he & Richmond are Premier League winners after all 🏆

Trying to work out why I'm broadly unbothered by the Brighton result * We're such a good team, will it matter? We're definitely still in the title race, City et al will all drop points * We're already champions * Just a more comprehensive defeat, less frustrating than conceding a last minute goal

Seemed he was either upfront and offside, or in defence picking up the ball off Raya 🤷‍♂️

Easy for Arteta to say, after the game, he knew something was off from the very first throw-in. He's the one who decided not to make a change until we'd conceded the third goal.

Arsenal have been very good this season. No sugarcoating today though – that was really, really bad. We played poorly, Brighton played very well, and they absolutely deserved the win and all three points. A real off day, hard to explain, but individually and collectively we were terrible.

Arsenal totally outplayed today and deserved to lose. Brighton were excellent but it’s been years since an Arteta side was dominated like that. Just got to swallow that one and make sure it’s a one off. Just shows the level of the league. Bad day at the office.

I don't know, the scoreline would seem to indicate something isn't working and you should perhaps maybe think about changing it sooner rather than later

Since January 31st Arsenal have conceded just 11 goals in the Premier League. That is 19 matches played. Since the start of this season Chelsea have conceded 12. That is just 5 matches played.

This is 100% how VAR should operate. So much of football is stupid complaining about decisions, in which case... go on, challenge it. Either it's overturned, or you lose the challenge. Removes the need to review every single possible incident, because it's only necessary when a challenge is issued

A game we absolutely deserved to win, but we made harder work of it because our finishing was woeful until Martin Odegaard stepped up to crack home the winner. The captain was brilliant again tonight, overall we played well bar the shooting, and to come away from Napoli with a win is a good result.
