1. Read about marketing 2. Try to understand marketing 3. Use marketing

Thinking about doing free website audits with @PulseCareHQ for the #buildinpublic community. The idea is simple: run a thread for a week, check the website of everyone who replies, and post my findings and suggestions right there in the thread for everyone to see. Could be useful for others too

I think my decision a few years ago to dive deep into marketing, read a bunch of marketing books, and learn everything around it was definitely the right one. Let's see what results it brings over the next year)) #buildinpublic #saas #marketing

3 a.m. 6 hrs before my 9-to-5. Still coding. Still cooking up something very interesting and useful. Something you and your agents (#Claude, #Codex, #OpenClaw, #Cursor) are going to love 😃 #buildinpublic

I respectfully disagree. Wax cylinders disappeared completely as a technology. Message brokers aren't going anywhere)) We'll probably just stop setting them up ourselves.

Founder have you ever thought that one day we'll be telling our grandkids that we used to write code by hand? Factories, facades, iterators... We designed the architecture ourselves, set up message brokers and reverse proxies.. To them, it'll sound almost impossible))) #buildinpublic #founder

So I started another project alongside PulseCare 😄 Tbh, I was surprised that the second project didn't distract me at all. It actually became a nice way to switch context and take a break from PulseCare)) #buildinpublic

Then I realized I needed some kind of system to help me keep track of things, like tweet ideas I don't want to forget and content I want to write and other marketing stuff.

Over a year ago, after reading tons of stuff about marketing I realized I actually like it 🙂 Since then I've been thinking about building something around #marketing.

Restore verification goes a step further: it runs the archive through the database's native restore tool and verifies the restored data by counting rows in each table. That way, if a backup can't actually be restored, you find out before you need it, not in the middle of a disaster. #buildinpublic

Guys, backups from day one. Always. 😄 Checksums and exit codes catch some failure modes, but they miss others. Checksums can detect corruption in the archive file, but they don't tell you whether the dump itself is complete or actually restorable. #buildinpublic

I've set up database backups and automatic restore checks. The backup tool is only accessible through the private VPN network pulsecare.cloud/ uses. #buildinpublic #SaaS

Just a reminder for #founders: There are two types of people: those who make backups and those who already learned why they should 😄 #buildinpublic

Hmm... I might try making one with scripting and mcp and another one manually, just to see which works better

Alex Kovalev @raykovalev.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
How do you guys edit videos and promos these days? Still the old-fashioned way, manually? Or is everyone using MCP with #DaVinci Resolve now, maybe together with other AI tools? I recently saw some news about #DaVinci Resolve getting MCP support.

Also spent part of the weekend working on a script for a promo video. It sounds simple, but figuring out what shots to use, what to show, and what to focus on takes so much time. Time to fire up DaVinci again. Haven't edited a video in ages, so I'll have to remember how it all works #buildinpublic

When you're deep in the flow, building something, you don't even realize you’re working hard. I've been trying to go to bed for the last four hours. It's almost 2a.m. but I’m right in the middle of a flow state 😂

How do you differentiate your agents? How do you keep track of what each one is responsible for? It seems like it would be a mess in my head if I gave them human names 😂

Dan, do you use only TypeScript? I write the vast majority of my backend in Go, the frontend in TypeScript, and some backend services in TypeScript and some in Python sometimes think about using TypeScript for everything, but I'm kind of addicted to Go(and Python)

I noticed many people struggle to find clear, simple explanations of core ideas - so I built a site that solves that. I'm also adding practical checklists you can run through before launching your service. Plus, I'll share useful tools and resources there too
