A wonderfully detailed article. I think you missed a point on the "why now" of Bond price increases. Or at least skirted around it. Massive AI build-out borrowing has created new debt bonds yielding more. Unlike decades ago, it is not just Japan holding US bonds. People are seeing and switching.

Yeah! I remember being out that Saturday afternoon, and seeing the Toon were winning 0-5 at halftime. I was gobsmacked when I got home and put final score on the telly. Ridiculous. Then they repeated the same thing the following week with a 3-3 draw with Watford.

I do wonder what Pardo is like when he has the ball? I also think, based on little evidence, except a few clips and no-one in the box yesterday, that #nufc would maybe have been better off buying Delap as a target man. We have to have a target for crosses against a lot of these physical teams.

Yeah, I think Miley is a better right-back than we think he is a midfielder. He does not even have the same tricks, turns and half yard of pace as Steur. He is great a timing interceptions and putting players under pressure, but creatively has nothing.

Nobody put more pressure on Eddie Howe than himself. First into training ground, last one out. In his own words, was always thinking about the job. That's great for us as #nufc supporters, but it is not sustainable. Everybody needs a break, and I am glad he realised he had to take one. For his sake!

Senior players at #nufc like Murphy, Barnes, even Willock.....why do they get a physical free pass in all these away games. When we need commitment and physical effort, stuck in, why do they go missing every time?

Sat thinking this evening, just 2 weeks ago it seemed that Jaissle had plans and an answer in-game for #nufc unlike we had recently experienced. Then last night he put out a totally inept, wrong formation to counter Leeds, and did not really grasp we had no midfield. And now, it was always coming.

I agree, and that is more than one could expect from an 18 yr old. He will be massive in a few years. But how Jaissle and the senior professionals like Barnes/Murphy let the two youngsters drown in the middle of the park. It beggars belief and was nothing short of scandalous.

I don't care what people say about, bumps in the road, or just learning. The physical intensity needed is down to every individual. Either play up and live up to it or go to another league. Yes, it is a new experience but this is #nufc and we expect more than watching players be bullied. Shite!

We basically have no midfield and we have a hopeful 18 year old (who will be great) and a 20 year old who cannot handle this yet and impose himself. So #nufc literally have no midfield on the park. We are getting found out and quickly.

What gets me is that Leeds want it more. What are #nufc doing that they have not got that in them. And where are they going to get it from to face Sunderland, Brentford, Brighton Fulham, Forest etc. They all play the same, not pretty shapes but getting to second balls and wanting it and winnint it.

But surely we are always, by definition, in a polyrenewal. There could be no life if we did not evolve ideas and responses. But the point of "poly" crisis is not that there is no renewal but rather that a number of crises are happening all at once, and so it is sort of unprecedented systemically.
