I may be able to find balance sooner or later and there are other stressors causing my body to crap out (not willing to discuss) I just wish I had more time to do what brings me joy. I'm thinking not having the energy to draw is a combination of that and travel. I take the bus home and some times when my husband can't take me I take the bus in. On those days I'm out from 7:30 and get back home at 6:30pm. Or out by 8am when hubby takes me. I have chronic illnesses -

What a week this has been. First: job is going well. A generally good place to work as long as you get on with work. Just on day 2 of me being in, got invited for a work do, and honestly, yeah they went all out But we had a power outage friday that lasted most the day. No internet for 2 days :')

The official start date is on Thursday:) thankfully I gave a few days to finalise things. Also having 2 days in and a break is better for me anyway so not to get too overwhelmed with the new process. How exciting :3

I have gone through hundreds of applications since May with no luck then get called twice this week for an interview tomorrow, and another for Friday Goodness Strange whiplash lol Temp jobs but in a sector I'm desperately trying to get in. So it will eventually lead me to permanent. Wish me luck!

Maybe I'm jaded but I don't think they did. I've never had this much problem. Post COVID lockdown in 2021 after my graduation I applied for 5 jobs. Interviewed and employed within 3 weeks. I applied for over 75 when I heard about more redundancies, tailoring it every step and nothing.

And once after all that, I had to write a 500 word personal statement. For an office based role (admin and data entry) Good god.

More rejections. Some informal interviews. Nothing after. Ghosted Trying to stay positive Applying for jobs in itself feels like a full-time job. I've had more than a handful where they ask for CV upload, then input it again. Mandatory, or application won't be accepted, and a cover letter required
