I'm thinking not having the energy to draw is a combination of that and travel. I take the bus home and some times when my husband can't take me I take the bus in. On those days I'm out from 7:30 and get back home at 6:30pm. Or out by 8am when hubby takes me. I have chronic illnesses -

What a week this has been. First: job is going well. A generally good place to work as long as you get on with work. Just on day 2 of me being in, got invited for a work do, and honestly, yeah they went all out But we had a power outage friday that lasted most the day. No internet for 2 days :')

I have gone through hundreds of applications since May with no luck then get called twice this week for an interview tomorrow, and another for Friday Goodness Strange whiplash lol Temp jobs but in a sector I'm desperately trying to get in. So it will eventually lead me to permanent. Wish me luck!

I need to wear my glasses more. I'm taking on sewing work I'm needing it to do unpicking, pining but was spared of needing it when doing pattern making. But I noticed my eyes getting tired easier than before. This was just for reading or long computer use 2 years ago I'll be 41 in 2 weeks :')

With all this free time I'm sewing for money I had to retire from sewing work due to job forcing overtime and refusing to approve time off I didn't realise many local alteration shops closed, so there is a gap in this skill. Honestly between this and commissions I'll be okay if it remains steady

While I am worried about my circumstances and I have been frantically applying everywhere, I'm also finally feeling relieved that I'm never going to be here again. I won't have to be around toxic people and take blame for something beyond my control. I may be able to have energy again to draw :')

I have previously spoken about my job, though not in great detail, I have mentioned the instability, the problems with it, the constant redundancies and what feels like a revolving door or people comeing and going. I don't wish to discuss in detail, but as of May 9th, I will no longer be employed.
