@maggycraven.bsky.social suggested that, when I finally publish #Opaline, I should release them additionally in hardcover. One the one hand, I like the idea, though on the other, I know that will be awfully expensive for readers, especially since it comes in multiple parts.

There is a scene much, much later in the #Vladimir series where Lucifer does a beautiful song and dance. The inspiration for this scene is also from an E Nomine piece called "Mondengel"

In #Vladimir, Lucifer looks and sounds the way he does because, at the time, I thought it was one of the sexiest designs I could give him. E Nomine definitely inspired his voice and his German accent. The best song examples for him are "Der Herr der Finsternis" and "Wolfen/Das Tier in Mir"

#Vladimir, despite having inspiration from Vlad the Impaler and characters like Alucard from Hellsing, is not a vampire. He's a seraph, as he will remind anyone who forgets. It is said seraphs are also flaming snakes, which is how he got his serpent-like form for battle.

I know Hope's name is cheesy, but I chose it based on Greek Mythology. I likened the story a bit to Pandora's Box, with the demons being the evils of man. The only thing kept in the box was hope. So, that's here Hope gets her name. #Vladimir

I do find the Hell characters interesting in #Vladimir. I want to have enough scenes of them to please fans, as they all have their quirks. But I also have to be careful not to get too sidetracked with them, since their stories aren't always cohesive with Hope's story

I've been tempted to have Andrealphus appear in #Vladimir, but as of this time, I don't have a real reason to do so. There are other members of the Ars Goetia that turn up though. Stolas, obviously, but also Furfur (Furcifer) appears. Belial also is a prince of Hell, and Beelzebub counts as Goetia.

Another favorite devil in #Vladimir of mine is Leviathan. He has a bit of a tragic backstory, and I'm a little sad I can't give him the full focus he deserves when that story is due to be told. I also like Beelzebub, as he's powerful yet also a sad figure in that his ring has changed his appearance

In #Vladimir, one of my favorite devils has become Mammon. I like his design in my head, and despite his greed, he is portrayed as a loving husband, a helpful prince to Lucifer, and in a story in the near future shows he has a soft spot for Hope, as she reminds him of his own wife.

It should be said that the 7 princes of Hell in #Vladimir are not entirely accurate. I took some creative liberties. Like, I replaced one of the princes with Mephistopheles...just cuz I've always found Mephisto to be a very interesting devil.

I want to clarify that Stolas, in #Vladimir, is not getting a re-design. He's always looked the same in canon. The only change in story is that now I can actually refer to the sooty owl. The re-design is for the cover only, as he was portrayed inaccurately (my fault).

I don't remember if I've shared this before, but Stolas, in #Vladimir, is a mishmash of a common barn owl, a sooty owl, a snowy owl, and a great horned owl. I wanted the blue-gray color, but I also wanted to make him distinguishable from @vivziepop.bsky.social's Stolas.

Granted, #Vladimir has kinda had a spot on the backburner since book 3's publication. Trying to get back into the mood for it. Also, Stolas (on book 3's cover) will be getting a re-design eventually. So, they'll be a semi-new cover. I also have a design plan for book 4's cover. #writing #authors

It's still going to take a long time to get it set up, but I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in listening to a #podcast of my friends and I doing a Pokemon #RPG ( #PTU). I guess it's kinda like Critical Role, only with #Pokemon.

I wonder if I should get some apple juice next month. Maybe some more juice in my diet will make me want to drink more. I mean, I still have water, but sometimes, I just need some juice. I love orange juice, but apple juice is pretty satisfying too.

Orange juice is so good. I've not had juice in a while, and technically the juice was for Sissy, but I REALLY wanted a cup. It's making my kidneys happy. I really need a major fluid intake. I'm apparently VERY dehydrated but I'm not as thirsty as I should be.

I went to the #dentist to get a filling today. Eye tooth. He numbed it and my friggin eyeball went numb. I've never felt that sensation before! He goes "That's why it's called an eye tooth." I almost lost my meds cuz my face is still numb. I'm STARVING! Wish me luck.
