a furry/fursona example for the skeb/surprise me comms I'll be opening soon! she belongs to one of my besties, @ravalicious.bsky.social! 🫶🫶💕 #tsubelleart #skeb #ocsky #artsky #furrysky #furry #fursona #bat

a skeb/surprise me sketch portrait of a female bat fursona, named Hanami. she is a mixture of bat species(I can't remember all of them, I'm sorry!), and is very fluffy. she has a happy, blushing expression, with bright blue-green eyes. she has large grey and tan ears, a very fluffy neck that ranges in yellow, tan, dark brown, and dark grey in color. her wing is slightly poking out, also dark grey in color, with an white tuft of fur by the "thumb" joint. she's against a medium brown and semi-muted orange background.

So I ended up ordering a 15inch cintiq as well... lmao. I'm realizing inking is REALLY hard on the tablet. I'm going to keep the tablet, tho, for easier travel, but this smaller cintiq will allow me to be in my room/couch still it's a different brand, as wanna test it out compared to my wacom

I don't normally like watching horror movies, but I do love watching people play horror games. And I watched people play all the resident evil games... AHH. Your comment makes me tempted to brave it. LOL

Hanami is now a bat shape shifter! >:3c Once I get my new laptop in a few days and can finally draw in my room I hope to sketch out a few things to show this~

🌸 Rava 🌸 @ravalicious.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Thank you! :3 still wanna play with them a little more, but gettin ever so closer to how I want her to be!

🌸 Rava 🌸 @ravalicious.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Old left, new right. I'm liking some of the changes! I wanted her to have more hoary bat shown. Also the "hair" at her forehead is a lot more similar to how my actual hair is

OKAY today goin to test some new things on Hanami to see if I can like her face more. >:0

This has been the only ad in a long time I actually like. I’ve been wanting the spiral noodles ever since they discontinued the Alfredo one. And I had it the other day and it’s really good!! I got the other two to try as well. I’ll continue being mad at other ads tho >:( lmao

Huzzah! Slowly getting back into art! I sketched out a new comm today and almost finished a sticker. :3 Most of the day I just needed to rest, tho, cuz my feet have been dying while at work...

🌸 Rava 🌸 @ravalicious.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

for sure call off if she doesn't pick it up! That's so frustrating. 8( are you able to bring your hours down in general, then when you want to work extra can just pick up shifts? I did that recently!

I went to the Renaissance Festival tho. So next year I'll go to the State Fair instead.

🌸 Rava 🌸 @ravalicious.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I had really wanted to go to the MN state fair tomorrow but my feet have been dying from walking at work so much, and I wanna save money... so no state fair this year for me.

I don't think it was because of the "ship" but more of the 'cest part of it. Some people are reaaaaally against it. I'm glad to see they simply left instead of leaving mean comments, tho! That's how it should be. POST WHAT YOU WANT!! It's all fantasy!

I'm basing her lip area (lower one anyways) off of vampire bats! I'll test the front teeth of vamp bats on her as well. :3 While upper lip/nose is like a flying fox.

In addition to being one of the world's critical nighttime pollinators, the common blossom bat is also incredibly cute. 🥹 Weighing about 15-20 grams, they're about the weight of a AA battery, and feed mostly on nectar and pollen. 🦇 Syconycteris australis 📸 David White/ iNaturalist
