Finished my 139th lifetime half-marathon in Helsinki with a new knee half-marathon PR of 1:38:36. This actually surprised the hell out of me considering this is basically the third time I have started over in the past 3 years with just 6 weeks to prepare for this after a hamstring pull in late June

7 years ago today: 8.5 hours later - 22 pools, 5000 yards swam, 100 miles driven, one massive gay pride parade driven through (slowly and safely), and two tired swimmers. But we got a 200 yard swim in every free Austin pool all in one day.
