You may notice that I left out social media so far. Once I publish the browser extension, I might accept PRs for that, but I don't want to see those on my own dashboards.

Posting the orange man's latest post, with some snarky comment telling us what an idiot that guy is, proves less about his mental capacity and more about his successful social media strategy that caused you to share his post.

@kmj Wait, AI training has nothing to do with copyright. There's no value in the AI reproducing the exact image, and producing a similar, fake photo is a completely different product. I thought you were talking about removing the watermark in order for someone else to sell the photo or something.

@kmj You just said the market can't work that way anymore, unless we all spend money on protecting that model with intrusive government action. Markets have to change, when technologies change.

@kmj If a press photographer doesn't want their photos used, then they should not publish them for free on the open Web. They should sell the photo to a publication that has value from publishing it first.

I was happily video-conferencing on Proton Meet from Firefox last week, and now it says my browser isn't supported. The same thing happened to Jitsi Meet a couple of years ago. Is it really that impossible to support multiple browsers, when all of your product is supposedly based on Web Standards?

@andreijiroh.dev @apenwarr.ca That's still very unspecific. I also didn't ask about Cloudflare, which is uninteresting to me. ZeroTier has no issues setting up multiple network interfaces for multiple private networks, while sharing the same client identity/keys across all of them.
