I'm approaching 50. In my 3-ish decades of legal adulthood, I've received jury summons at least 7 times. I don't remember the exact number, but I know it's been more than half a dozen. This is my 3rd summons since moving to Texas. Maybe, for once, I'll actually get to attend.

Curiosity made me do it: Did you know that all but 2 members of the Republican Congress are Judeo-Christian? All non-Christian faiths represented in Congress are Democrats.

Religious makeup of Democratic and Republican members of the current US Congress. Of the Republicans, 1 is Messianic Jewish, 3 are Jewish, 1 is "unafilliated" and 1 is "don't know/refused." ALL other R members are a Christian denomination.
