One of the few engines of social mobility being constantly ground under the heel of well meaning but ultimately facile reforms has created a general apathy towards education amoung the people it should most benefit. It almost feels intentional.

For most English I think it's just good humoured 'bants', like rival football team supporters ribbing each other etc. But there are cringe people who take it seriously and they mostly seem to be chaps from southern England, which scans, because the majority of them are utter cunt's.

I really enjoyed that game except for the nonsensical bullet sponge boss battles, the idea of a bunch of lunatics making life inside the mall even more chaotic, great. The fact that these normal (but insane) people are eating entire machine gun clips like jelly beans, slightly immersion breaking. 😆

I saw some of his Youtubes years ago. The chap is clearly very autistic and copies his blunt sense of 'humour' from the likes of John Cleese. He definitely puts the 'amateur' into amateur historian, apart from anything else his videos were very rambling and by and large very tedious to watch.

My gods, these people. The dross with least intellectual understanding of art, always seem to be the ones over intellectualising and gatekeeping gallery art. But whether it's a Holbein of some dead king or a late Manet, an Asterix comic strip or William Morris wallpaper, its all art. Art is Art.

Yeah, he could have just said it was a survival horror homage and left it at that. It was a largely entertaining film, could have done with fewer gags and maybe a bit more pathos, not every character needed to be incompetent, that ending... yikes.

You could make the argument it was more a homage to survival horror games in general, as beyond the names and ammo scarcity it has much more creature/visual influence from games like Left for Dead and Dead Space than RE specifically. It's a crying shame it snatched mid from the jaws of great.

It's all very mid and atrocious. I love the LotR dwarves, but they poisoned the well in subsequent Dwarf design iterations. I'm just glad I can get my hands on these short kings again.

Yeah if you've created a world heavily based on 1400's Europe where people wear full plate armour, you need to explain why there aren't cannons. Conversely if you've got an early medieval/classical pre history Conan vibe, then you'd need to explain why you do have them.
