I went in prepared for anti-mlm junk food, but this book is much more than that, situating the founders of MLM into the context of American politics and elucidating how they shaped our modern capitalist hellscape. The most thorough account of MLM history and statistics I’ve ever read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book makes all the other books I rated five stars (except the Zeke Faux book) look fucking stupid. This is the best nonfiction book I’ve read in a long time. Expertly written, very informative, very funny in the face of so much tragedy. We will never be forgiven for what we did to Nkrumah.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Books like this are like junk food for me. Shitty people do stupid crimes, leave an incredibly stupid paper trail, and get punished. Very informative about how the pharmaceutical industry works. Feels good to see these people brought to justice, but that doesn’t happen usually. Five stars.
