I'm at that point where i'm considering opening commissions, despite being all but certain that I wouldn't get anywhere with it. They'd be at a flat rate of £15 per piece. Would anyone be interested in that?

Thanks to everyone who tuned into the stream today! Not my usual "Work I Did On Stream" post, but introducing "Heracross Man"! Defender of the weak and Bug-Type user for justice, the newest episode of his TV show is shooting on a route near you, so feel free to stop by and cheer him on!

A pixel art sprite of the character "Heracross Man". Heavily inspired by Kamen Rider, he wears blue armour over a grey undersuit, with gleaming gold eye-lenses and a bright pink scarf.
His colour palette is based on that of Heracross, with the pink scarf and accents on his armour being a reference to Heracross' shiny variant.

After a good long while, my first custom transformers repaint is complete! So happy with how Thundercracker turned out in the end and so fired up to do my next one! Like I'm so happy with him, I can't stop picking him up and checking him out from different angles! #transformers

A closeup shot of Thundercracker, a customised Blokees Classic class TfOne Starscream figure, showing off the gleaming metallic blue and dark grey of his body, as well as the vibrant yellow on his chest, the glossy red of his visor and his wry little smile.

A full body shot of Thundercracker, attached to his base, in a dynamic pose suggesting a dramatic, one-footed landing, either entering battle or greeting fans.

A rear view of Thundercracker, showing the detailing on the back of his wings, the yellow energon crystals around him and, what I have been reliably informed is his "aft plate" 🤔

Hey all, it's #TransDayOfVisibility today so I guess here I am, being visibly trans! I'm Kat, she/her, and I paint miniatures, both for myself and for commissions, I do digital art and also, starting tomorrow, I'll be rebooting my stream over at Twitch.tv/fiendishneko, so why not drop by and say hi!

A squad of converted Eldar Exodite snipers. The models have splashes of bright colours all over them, in particular their hair, their armour and any trophies they have, but are somewhat obscured by the drab brown of their camo cloaks and gun wrappings.

A large miniature of a Tarrasque: a large, dinosaur like creature from D&D, stood roaring atop a rocky outcrop.
The monster has a tan underbelly, bright orangey-brown armour plates along its back and glowing yellow eyes.
The ground it stands on is covered in long grasses of varying colours and flowers with yellow petals.

Miniatures of the Transformers characters Soundwave and his cassette minions Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, Frenzy and Rumble, all painted in their G1 colours and stood on mechanical looking bases coloured in a blue to magenta gradient.

Put in a bunch of work today, making some new stream layouts based on GBC and GBA Zelda games on the off chance I can sunk cost myself into starting up the stream again. Ignore the lil background in the top right, though, that still needs ago over at some point 😬 #zelda #livestream #spriteart

A livestream layout, styled after and making use of sprites for the GBA title, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. The layout is designed to look like a zelda dungeon, with a large room holding the game window and a smaller room holding the chat.
Link is also here, looking confused at some ghosts.

A livestream layout, styled after and making use of sprites for the GBC title, The Legend of Zelda: The Oracle of Ages. The layout is setup to look like the outside of a castle, with monsters attacking the gate. The main building frames the game window and the chat is placed on a smaller side-section of the castle.

And here he is: Slaine, the Horned God! Definitely pleased with how he turned out (and thankfully so is my commissioner), especially so with how the blue metal and skin tones! Still not used to painting such big figures, but will have to do so again in future! #miniaturepainting #Commission

A fully painted, 3d printed figure of 2000AD character Slaine, as he appeared on the cover of The Horned God.

Slaine is wearing little clothing, a loincloth, a stylised metal belt and a large cloak, and his skin is covered in blue tattoos and blood. He holds a large battleaxe in his right hand, the head resting on the ground, and a long pole in his right, from which hangs two severed, green orc heads. He is stood on a large, grey rock, painted qnd textured to look like a snowy mountaintop.

A closeup shot of Slaine from the shoulders up, showing the heavily verdigrised amulets hanging from his cloak, as well as his wild dark hair.

The lower part of his face has been shaded to imply stubble, whereas the upper half has been highlighted to emphasise the lines on his brow, which are then broken up by the bright red stripes that run from his forehead, over his eyes, and then down his cheeks.

A close up of the large metal belt wrapped around Slaine's waist, stylised to look like a snarling, tusked beast.

In the source material, most of the metal Slaine wears is depicted as this vibrant, cool blue tone. I took a bit of artistic license on this piece and painted these elements as if they were bronze, stained bright blue by verdigris except for on raised areas, where the original colour still shines through.

A close up of the two orc heads hanging from Slaine's trophy pole.

While my background is in painting warhammer models, I wanted to give these orcs a less vivid, more grounded skin tone to better tie them in with the rest of the piece. Additionally, I wanted the heads to appear like they are still relatively "fresh", so while I used muted, earthy greens for the skin, I made use of red and purple glazes in the recesses to suggest that, while dead, there is still blood in these trophy heads.

At long last, I've got some commission WIPs for you painting enjoyers to... enjoy? This is Slaine, a big fella originally from 2000AD comics and, standing at just shy of 10" tall, he really is a big fella! Still a fair way to go still, so watch this space! #miniaturepainting #Commission

A partially painted, 3d printed figure of the 2000AD character Slaine, specifically as depicted on the cover of The Horned God.

The figure is only partially assembled, with a number of part being left separate for ease of painting, including the head and handle of his axe, as well as two severed orc heads.

A close up of the axe and orc heads from the previous picture, giving a closer view of the colours and textures used for both.

A close up view of Slaine's upper half, specifically to show of his metalwear (and no ther reasons!).

I took a bit of a creative liberty with the metal here, as the original artwork shows this metal as quite an eyecatching blue, and painted it as bronze, stained a bright blue by verdigris, with some of its original colour shining through on the edges and raised areas.

From a render in Blender to painted on my worktable, fresh off of the Skybound Transformers comics: it's Shredhead! Not to keep droning on about it, but this is legit one of my proudest pieces of work, like it feels unreal that this is something I've made entirely myself, from start to finish!

Fully painted, 10mm scale miniatures of "Shredhead", a character from the Transformers Skybound comic books, in both robot and vehicle form.

In robot form, they carry a large, orangey-yellow sword and a shield decorated with the same design from the side of the van. Their body is mostly dark purple and magenta accents, with some elements being a light grey.

In van form, they are the same dark purple, with the right side of the van painted with a mural of a barbarian, a dragon and a wizard, all in front of a castle.

This model was one of three poses I modeled for the character, this one being advancing with sword drawn.

Behind them is a crushed up, wrecked car, designed by @porble (man, I love their lil wrecked cars! :D )

Fully painted, 10mm scale miniatures of "Shredhead", a character from the Transformers Skybound comic books, in robot form.

A side shot showing a clearer view of Shredhead's shield and the mural painted on it.

Coin for scale, just so I can flex qnd be smug about how much mural I managed to paint on the side of this tiny little van.
Honestly though, this thing was crazy small and real intimidating to even start on, but it felt great to work on once I got started!

Oh damn guys, apparently Pedro Pascal says Trans Rights! :o

A definitely real article by author for "People", Kimberlimber Spimberlee, titled "Pedro Pascal blasts J.K. Rowling with a "sick nasty" 600 Nitro Express pistol for her anti-trans views", a very real thing that he did and should be celebrated for.
The subtitle reads: "Pascal has long been an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ+ community pulling up on a bitch and his sister Lux Pascal has a mad high kill count". Again, two things that are both very true and real.

Oh hey, it's #PortfolioDay! I'm Kat, and I'm a freelance miniature painter. While I'm mostly an army/unit painter, I do have a soft spot for terrain building and basing, plus I'm never one to turn down the challenge of a single character or giant monster! I also happen to be HIGHLY commission-able!
