Okay, very minor thing, but it drives me nuts: the door to the left is an EXIT ONLY door. There is no handle from the outside. Meanwhile, traffic from the outdoors into this stairwell is likely coming in from the door on the right (and around the corner). But the mat is placed THIS WAY. ??

It also seems maybe my college's dorms were a little smaller than what I'm able to find on other schools. 🤷‍♀️ Here's our closet unit. That + the door occupy the entire width of the room. Depth's the length of an XL twin+depth of a small student desk+space enough for its chair to be fully pulled out.
