Sorry about the silence. Been trying to work on a ton of products and new boxes in the background. Feeling burnt, I decided to take a bit of time to work on something for me and started modeling the lamp my d&d character, Alphyrim, uses. Still a ways to go, but happy with the main body so far.

Day late and dollar short, but the person this is for I wasn't able to see until today anyway. Finished this last night for a friend who lost his drawing pad and I am quite proud of how it came out. For my first hardcover book, there are pleanty of places I can improve, but I think it came out good.

Whelp, hopefully today won't get much more worse then it already has. Got bitten by a stray cat that ran into our house last night and apparently it is inflamed and infected. No rabies as far as they can tell but it is hard to detect as well. Thumb hurts like hell too and can't move it much.

That is quite the valid concern and one that I'd planned to fully grapple with after the question of grid was solved, though, on test print, and comparing to regular minis, I think they might be right on the money at an equilateral triangle of 3 inches for the cards.

I may be naive on this one, but I'm imagining the movement validity to be like this on the tiles. From the white triangle, you can move to any of the blue triangles that are touching either by side or by tip to the one your character is on. Perhaps I include a card with this to explain it too?

For the rough bones of the idea on the triangular cards... Is this playable as a grid in either D&D or Pathfinder? The larger triangles are the card cuts while all of the smaller triangles would be the "grid" for player spaces. each triangle still works out to ~5ft. Building is layered over top.

For those curious... I am fiddling with taking some of the homebrew campaign I've been working on, cutting it apart to mini-encounters that focus on one monster and setting, and plan to package it all up as an onigiri. Dungeon-giri, if you will. And I'm getting frustrated figuring out the tiles.
