I hate: Rain, heat, and when a scooter with tiny, plastic wheels whizzes past. But what really annoyed me today was the bench in the photo. Normally, I hop onto the bench when Mom sits down. But that bench was waaay too high for me. I had to be lifted up! #PetHates #TerrierTuesday

That's me, on the bench. A bit of my treat also fell through the cracks, and I couldn’t go after it because I wouldn’t have been able to climb back up.

The circus is in town. Of course I had to have a proper look around. After watching the lions yesterday with my #JRT mate Odin, today I went off on my own to check out the white tiger and the camels. My #Gotcha day was last year. Mom was really worried beforehand because I was going to have to ride in the car for 3.5 hours, and that’s actually quite a long time. In the end, I was totally chill during the ride—I just slept through it. #TerrierTuesday, #WelshTerrier, #DogsOfBlueSky, #Puppy

This is the very first photo of me on the day I was collected. I’m peering over the side of my green car seat. It was still sooo high for me back then.

I’ve settled in here now. The breeder gave me this purple blanket as a present, and of course I had to have a go at seeing if I could sleep on it.
Verdict: The blanket’s all right, but a dog sofa like that isn’t really my thing. I’d much rather have a doughnut-shaped bed to curl up in, with sides so I don’t end up hanging halfway out of it – like I am here.

I also had a Kong for puppies. I dismissed that as a silly toy straight away, too. – I just never looked at it again.

And that’s me with my leather giraffe. It’s one of those flat toys with just a little bit of stuffing, which came in the Lakefields food parcel. Unlike the Kong, I really loved it and chewed on it loads until I’d finished teething.

It’s currently 30°C here and it’s set to get even hotter at the weekend. But this morning, the temperature was a pleasant 20°C. So I went to the dog park for a quick visit. We had a town festival last week. My Mom took me along so I could have a look around. It was exciting. There were loads of stalls and loads of treats. And there was a guy who was throwing a stick, but he kept catching it himself. – What a shame. That’s why I’ve got my own here now. #TerrierTuesday

My Mom won a brilliant prize pack from #DTV-Verlag for the book "Beth is Dead" by Katie Bernet. It included the book, an audiobook, a notebook, an instant camera and some treats. As for me, though, I’m most excited about the box full of packing paper! It makes such a lovely rustling sound!

Today I was in Tangermünde. There’s a funny statue of Grete Minde there, huge stone walls, and you can go for really long walks between the Elbe and the Tanger, which flows into the Elbe there. I met some really sweet new dogs and walked a loooong way. Now I’m tired. #WelshTerrier, #Dogs

That's me with my mate the meerkat. I've seen four of them today. They ran with me from one corner of the glass pane to the next and pawed at me.

These are my wild boar friends. There must have been eight of them. Mum didn’t quite trust me, but the little ones wanted to play with me.

My alpaca friends don't like it when I run up to them. But when I lie down and wag my tail, they come over one by one and we can have a sniff at each other.

Today is 1 May and it’s a public holiday. Last night, the people here celebrated Walpurgis Night and danced into May. It was quite noisy. That’s why Mum packed me up today and drove me to Klötze. Orchids bloom there from May to June. I spent the whole day exploring. #WelshTerrier, #Terrier, #Dogs
