rarh3.bsky.social @rarh3.bsky.social · 53mJust reread this. And realised that in text-only-format, without the emphasis that's actually only in my head, it could read as if I meant "that's kinda wrong" rather than.. mm.. "yes, and.." which was what I meant. 000
rarh3.bsky.social @rarh3.bsky.social · 1h... I just hadn't realised this until recently when someone told me and I think it's such a good Interesting Fact I can't help sharing at any excuse and none. 020
rarh3.bsky.social @rarh3.bsky.social · 1h.. kinda, no? Lady Day is 25th March (same date as ever, 9 months before Christmas), but the tax year didn't move when they had the big date-shuffling and skipped 12 days (was it 12 days?) in the 18th (I think?) century? Or something? 240

rarh3.bsky.social @rarh3.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Doesn't solar work more efficiently rather than less where it's not too hot? I've an idea more thermal energy in the electrons in the panels reduces the efficiency of the conversion of photons into voltage. Or something. IANAPhysicsist etc. 110

rarh3.bsky.social @rarh3.bsky.social · 22/06/2026If you're taping on and leaving, I think I'd go with foil, but if you've got an opening and don't want to live in the dark all summer/take the tin foil on and off repeatedly it might be worth considering. 120
