In 1976, my Mom bought me this comic. It was the first music comic book biography that was not only authorized... it was written by The Man In Black himself. It's my distinct pleasure to be part of the team working with the Johnny Cash estate to bring it back into print.

On the flight back from Germany, the in flight entertainment system had Van Halen's album A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH, and since I was in the air for 21 hours, I gave it a listen for the first time since it came out. This is a MUCH better album than I remember, with great songs & performances.
