Would using AI to test games / find fix bugs not be a viable tool ? (Genuinely have no clue, desperate for some kind of silver lining) I can attest that the sports games EA puts out never get properly tested before release. I know de-bugging games is often a fix one thing break 2+ scenario

So I'm far less certain than others about what this deal is really about, or what it means. Joost points out the... surprising... parts of the math, and offers some possible reasons why, which make the most sense to me. This is more than just another deal. But what comes next? Impossible to say.

So my next question is what are those games going to look like going forward with RW propaganda in them. The fanbases of those franchises will just overlook that ? Most of those are not in my wheelhouse of gaming aside of battlefield but I haven't played one in probably 5+ years.

They will probably run the company into the ground but that's a bit hyperbolic. It's horrible for gaming but they're not going to do anything remotely close to this. EA won't even let players get concussions in their sports in an effort to keep the NFL happy.
