#auspol On a technical note re the proposed changes to tax on $3 m super balances. The SIS Act (1993) s52 includes the following. It matters because you have always been required to maintain liquidity to meet taxes, costs and expenses. If your fund only holds property, you are already in breach.

Trump is not just a U.S. problem. The stench reaches into institutions that effectively export the right wing agenda. A less cynical interpretation would imply this is a good outcome for the Argentinian public. However, we have seen this shpow before. We know how it ends and who benefits.
