We left over 40 minutes early for the show yesterday but the freeway traffic said "fuck you and your desire to see Schmistian Schmoyhole in particular" so that did uh, not happen ;_; Regardless, I had a most glorious weekend in the company of @becka.bsky.social, and I have no regrets! ☺️

I texted mom asking how progress has been getting referrals or appointments or making contact with professionals. I don't have high hopes for a response to these questions but at least I've engaged. I've got two therapists urging me to not engage further until this one request is acknowledged.

I've now referred Mom to a mental health professional at least an additional two (2) times since she has updated me that Dad is uncooperative and won't talk to even her, and that the hospital has had to force him to take his medication. I don't relish being right, but I TOLD her this would happen.

How my ADHD hyperfixations work ("work") is so fascinating bc I'm medicated but it's not like medication helps manage or reduce my hyperfixation, it's just that while medicated I have the presence of mind to make spreadsheets or timelines or arrange photographs or make collages. Thanks, brain. 🙄
