randomhoohaas.net No news on what caused the old site to blow up, but I've moved to a new host. The blog's AWOL and there's lots of things to fix, but it's up...! Random Hoo Haas will be 21 years old in October, and that's a wee bit terrifying. Thank you for putting up with my rubbish for this long.

You know what I'm going to dock a point for? His noodly arms. Bowser is hardly known for his killer delts, but it upsets me seeing the rest of him so rightfully massive, and then those bloody things looking so scrawny. I have no proposed solution for this without going into embarrassing detail about what Bowser's arms should look like, because believe it or not, this article has limits.

Somebody also said this bubble was unused. If the manual said "COLLECT A BUBBLE TO UNLOCK METAL SLUG ADVANCE: GOOD EDITION" but the bubble was conspicuously missing entirely then this could be astounding news, but it's just a bubble, y'know. And bubbles are trouble.
This is a terrible way to start a new section.

The audio is a bit funky though -- some instrumentation is way louder or warped, the Space Bomber fight possibly the clearest example, changing the background "whoosh" into an overpowering siren. The jukebox uses recordings from a different source, so it must be an emulation foible...?

The Super #Bomberman Collection updated today with Panic Bomber W, the previously Japan-exclusive Super Famicom puzzler. It's got a lovely translation for the first time ever, capturing the kooky charm of the original dialogue. Hats off to @redartgames.bsky.social for putting in the work!
