France is one of two remaining NATO countries with their own nukes that are still opposed to russia. A pro-russian party seizing power in either France or UK is basically end of the line not only for Ukraine's very existence, but for NATO and European security as a whole. Family of Oleksii Yukov, who had been tirelessly and selflessly working on recovering bodies of the war dead since 2014, receive his posthumous medal of Hero of Ukraine from Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Oleksii died on 5 August 2026, at the age of 40, after his car hit a landmine in the Donbas. RIP, hero.

So trump's USA sent kushner and witkoff to russia multiple times, and not even once to Ukraine. They destroyed USAID, cut off aid to Ukraine, blamed Zelenskyy, pressured Ukraine. Zero tariffs for russia, red carpet for putin, and lifting of sanctions when oil is sky high. And now they're "giving up"
