Hilariously, if it's the reel that I saw, it's from BUTTER. The movie about competitive butter sculpting, which is also apparently an allegory for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton vying for the 2008 presidential nomination. Yes, really. I saw it and recall it being OK, but it has been a while.

Watching DEEBIE DOES DEMONS, which I only watched once before. The production values quickly reminded me of why that is the case, but I still have to give Jessa Flux all the props for being willing to go tits out in a cemetery in broad daylight.

Today I learned there is a movie named DICKNADO, and by far the cover art is the best part of it. This woman's face is the epitome of "over it." (Or, as most women I know would describe it, "Opening your DMs")

I feel like way too few distributors take advantage of the fact that you can store a lot of episodes of something on a Blu-ray and you don't necessarily have to make it HD. Discotek is a great company for this: a lot of their releases specifically tell you they're "SD on BD" for this reason

I never watched any of the Disney Star Wars shows, so I have no true feelings about THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU. However, every time I am forced to see an ad for it on streaming I am struck by how *ugly* it looks. Why is most of it shot through an even uglier version of the Hollywood "Mexico" filter?

Holy shit, I took a random chance on the French horror film THE DEEP DARK (2023) and it rules. Coal miners versus a Lovecraftian deity that seems to be mostly brought to life through puppetry and looks awesome. Definitely recommend it.

Forgot to share my latest haul from Vinegar Syndrome & Melusine on here where I know it would be appreciated. Obviously been holding off on a lot of purchases lately, but these called to me too hard to ignore. Only seen DEMONWARP and THE GHOST GALLEON before, but excited to dive into all of them.

Watching the 4K disc of my favorite movie ever, EVIL DEAD 2, because the mood struck me. I had completely forgotten that the SDH subtitles are fucking awful. Here is possessed Ash clearly & slowly enunciating, "Join Us," a line you hear multiple times and the subtitles get it TOTALLY WRONG.
