In #Lebanon, 3,402 out of the 4,047 people killed in the war died during the last few months of the 14-month conflict, according to Health Minister Firass Abiad -- that's 84%. 88% of the 16,638 injured were wounded in the last few months of the war, according to new Health Ministry numbers.

In Beirut today, one person I interviewed had his home destroyed. His family was unhurt because his mother was already in the hospital. As he swept the dust from the now exposed stairwell, he said that his thoughts were with Gaza. “We haven’t experienced 1% of what Gaza has,” he told me.
