Why give another link to something I won't use? I went on-line in 1988. I was a routine user when web started in mid-90s. Human agency on-line effectively ended around 2015-2018 when algorithms began to mediate most of what people see. Why would I use AI, joining in the collective hallucination?

He doesn't focus clearly on the elite, and why tech. elites today are trending not towards 'neofascism' but a digital-enabled 'neofeudalism'. As fascism enabled industrial elites of the 20th Century, today it's the concentrated power of digital networks/AI that enabling a 'techno-feudal' order.

The question is whether GDP growth is a valid measure of economic activity any more. Right now, the trend in growth per unit of capital investment is decreasing because capital investment just doesn't produce productivity/efficiency gains it once did. Hence less growth, then less demand.
