Long, but interesting... www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTsn... I've been arguing in my work for the lest 25 years, except I tend to be way more specific due to my engineering background (which I think is why people like to ignore me because my presentations get way more practically scary than this!).

Fluffy American liberal asks, "Is Fascism Back?" (1 hour -- I'd give it a 7 out of 10): www.youtube.com/watch?v=GV8K... Johnny Harris is squirming at end, not only because he can't point the finger at his own country, but he can't offer concrete steps on stopping the slide to 'illiberal' states.

Amazed to hear Robert Nozick get a mention here. Author of 'Anarchy, State,& Utopia' (pub. 1974, unfortunately largely ignored these days) it resurrects Nozick's concept of the 'experience machine', and why that predicted the failure of Zuckerberg's 'Metaverse': www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wOu...

My latest commission: www.fraw.org.uk/frn/posts/20... Keir Starmer was elected with just 20% of the votes of the entire electorate; and in fact, since the late 1990s, the declining electoral support for the ruling party (caused by collapse in turnout) has been at the root of our political decline.
