Andy Burnham getting rid of the triple lock on state pensions. (Yes it affects me). But sorting out care home costs. Tory chair Kevin Hollinrake says he is taking money from pensioners. Can I just remind Kevin if Thatcher hadn’t sold off everything for short term gain we would not be in this mess.

As a pensioner, I have no problem with the triple lock being removed. Fixing social care is far more important and would benefit pensioners more. When Conservatives scream betrayal, remind them that they suspended it in 2022 when it suited them.
