C/C++/Go/Rust developer in Australia. Hardware engineer at Propeller Aero. (Views are my own. Never related to the day job.) Maintainer of IronOS and other random projects. Somehow seem to be sucked into 5 projects at all times. Not a huge poster.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A photo of a reverse mount SMD button with the four leads pointing up, looking like shrugging arms.

The only people that haven't bought into "modern" design and still have fun with how there applications look are developers in the audio space making DAWs and VST plugins

good riddance I like it better here anyway

Black text on a yellow background, which reads:

DRAWING A LINE

At Studio Fizbin we believe in striving for a diverse, respectful, caring, and loving world, while standing against racism, misogyny, queerphobia, antisemitism, and all forms of oppression. Our work has always been grounded in these values.

We watch with horror the rise of extreme right wing politics throughout much of the world. Many of the largest social media platforms are now eagerly bending the knee to the ascendant far-right, while intentionally proliferating misinformation and hate for their own benefit. As we continue to review our presence on all social networks, it’s nevertheless clear that one network vastly exceeds its peers in all these aspects: X.

As of today, the Studio Fizbin, Reignbreaker, & previous game accounts will no longer be active on X.

We do not want to continue providing engagement to a platform that actively pushes fascist content, nor can we stand by as its owner openly espouses racist ideology, attacks queer and trans people, and publicly gives the Nazi salute — a symbol for one of humanity's most horrific crimes, and which leaves no room for interpretation.

FASCISTS CANNOT BE TOLERATED.
NOT THEN, NOT NOW, NOT EVER.

We'll miss the connections & friends we've made on this platform over the years, but we are hopeful and optimistic we'll be able to reconnect with you on Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, & Threads.

Stay safe, and with love
Studio Fizbin

I picked up some of these a year or two back for a project. Worked well. Will note they shipped them by just wrapping the bundle in bubble wrap; so buying just 1 may not survive.
