A pair of Double-barred finches for today’s theme #Borbs

A concrete pedestal bird bath surrounded by Correa shrubbery and eucalypt mulch. There are a pair of tiny birds on the edge of the bath which have soft brown backs, black and white spotted wing feathers and distinctive white faces and bibs highlighted by narrow black lines and on breast and face. Their beaks are silver-grey and their eyes are black.

Mum Brushtail Possum eating carrot on a plate in a potted lemon tree on our balcony. Junior is hanging on precariously whilst upside down! Not a great shot but I needed something to cheer me up. #birds #wildlife
