It didn't happen on a different version of the same avatar that I swapped to, so dunno. I have to change between avatars depending on what specific part of it I want working. There's like 10 different versions, each with their own quirks. x3

This is pretty much how I see VRC when I play. The only difference is that when I stop in between movement, it snaps back to 1st person view. I see 3rd person when moving, but I can only move in up to 10 meter bursts. bsky.app/profile/rake...

All I can really do is check new/popular worlds and jump in to see if there’s any interesting photo opportunities (or default to Putt Putt or GeoGuessr). I did learn a few weeks back that apparently no one else uses holoport to move... but that’s all I know how to get around. x3

Also this popped up. So... yay? 🎉 I didn’t even think it had been that long, because it doesn’t feel like it. 6 years and a little over 300 hours played, and it’s not any different to when I first logged in. Aimless wandering and 0 clue wtf I’m supposed to be doing.

Deserts get quite cold! When I was trekking in the Sahara, it was freezing at night and I'd wake up each morning to frost on the dunes. You'd be surprised at the difference in temperatures between day and night. :p

Yeah, I've built a lot in Hammer, as well as in Unreal 2.5. Did enjoy working with them! Couldn't really afford any gaps in levels there, unless you wanted all the fun weirdness of a BSP hole. x3

Omfg, pulling my goddamn hair out with Unity. Building a level and have snap to grid on, but SOMEWHERE it got slightly misaligned in a few places by a random tiny amount (like 0.0799 units), the error compounded, and now nothing lines up. Soon as I fix one alignment, SOMETHING else is mismatched. 😤
