I've just finished watching 7Up-70Up: what an astonishing achievement in television. That director Michael Apted didn't always get on with everybody speaks further to how genuine the show feels. "Give me the child until he is 7 and I will give you the man" will remain debated for some time.

Yeah entirely possible. Think she was at/just out of uni and, well, my Facebook profile from uni has been deleted for a reason. I don't think it's the worst thing to be both politically motivated and want to make money so you can do it full-time, even if I personally found it tedious after a while.

Asked if he'd found it difficult to go back into academia (think he was late 30s/early 40s). His rather nonchalant response was "well, I had a double 1st in Maths and Physics in Pakistan and got 98% in the foundation year. So no." Mostly, great work from my my alma mater Sheffield on rejecting him.

Chatted to an Über driver who did a degree in Pakistan not recognised in the UK. Appplied to Bradford and Sheffield, both rejected him. A prof from Bradford then looked at his application and recognised his qualification. After some negotiation, it was agreed he do a foundation year.

Don't know how much of this is a UK/US divide but often discharging patients to the ward from ICU is challenging here and it means the patient isn't in the right place to have their an(a)emia investigated.
