Regarding future streams—the answer is still I don’t know. The soft return stream did NOT have the effect I was hoping for. I was knocked out the complete next day day like I was hungover or something. Once I protect myself a little more in that regard, you may see me go live more often. 🩷

rain @rainplaya.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Well thank y’all so much for coming out to my impromptu return-ish stream the other night! I’m sorry I didn’t advertise, and I’m sorry to my European friends that it was so late in the day. I knew it had to just *happen* or else I’d chicken out like last time.

Been doing SO much work on myself the past 3 or so years and I just want to thank everyone who’s been a part of my life, whether or not you’re still in it. I’m learning so much more about myself and others and this crazy world we live in. Whether our experience together was good or bad, thank you.

Ok anyone know how to get rid of these annoying reaction notifs that discord is sending on mobile now?? My notifs are REALLY tight. It’s how I’m able to be active in many servers while also running a pretty busy one myself. Not to mention ADHD…I really slim down my notifs in order to stay focused.

Hey loves, this is a reminder to be kind to yourself and your body, especially when it's struggling in response to trauma or triggers. It's trying it's best, and I know it's frustrating. It's okay to rest, and it's okay to accommodate yourself. Just please, be kind to you.

Thinking about when I talked about Dark Souls 1's world design and described it as "quasi-Metroidvania" and people got weird about that. Some people get hung up on subgenre usage in a way where it feels more like a weird knee-jerk reaction than anything remotely sensible or reasonable.

A lot of people in the Souls community have had their discord account hacked today due to the "Can you test this game me and my friends are working on?" social engineering attack. Some large content creators included. Please don't fall for it, too.

“___iSnT a sOuLsLiKe” “MeTrOiDvaNiaS nEeD mOvEmEnT uPgrAdEs” Smh The lines of genre will always be blurred There will always be a “ven diagram” of genres, always be overlap & gray areas And it’s a lot more fun to be inclusive than exclusive.
